The Greenfield Lions Club is holding several Christmas events this holiday season.
Christmas Pop-Up Shop
The Christmas Pop-Up Shop, will feature many local vendors, crafters and even some homemade soups and chilis. The event, in its third year, will be held Dec. 9, from 5-7 p.m. in the Community Center, 25 Wilton Rd. Find some local specialties for the people on your shopping list with approximately 12 booths including such local favorites as Scentsy, Watkins, M. Worley Crafts and Trish’s Treasures. There will also be a local Lions Club Cookbook for just $10. Bring home dinner, as our soups and chili will be available by by pints and quarts to go. Desserts will also be offered, as the Leo Club will host a bake sale.
In addition to finding some local treasures and dinner, please plan to bring a non-perishable item to donate to our Greenfield Food Pantry.
Christmas Tree & Wreath Sale
The Greenfield Lions Club also holds a self-serve wreath and Christmas tree sale at the vacant lot at the corner of Route 9N and Wilton Rd. The sale runs from Nov. 18 through Christmas. Trees cost $50 each. Plain wreaths cost $15 and wreaths with a bow cost $20. Lions will be on-site on weekends only.
Proceeds for this sale benefit sight, hearing, hunger, diabetes, childhood cancer awareness, environment, disaster relief and youth programs in our community.
